What Does a Lawyer Cost?

Free Legal Services

There are many free legal services in our community.  Many have their own criteria for selecting a case.  One of those criteria may be that the case has not started already, meaning not litigation has taken place.  Some free legal services may be found at http://www.miamidade.gov/assistance/legal_services.asp

Free Legal Services at Gasso Law

Like other law firms, we do work on contingency agreements, which means that we do it for a percent of recovery if we win.  If however there is nothing to win, we work on straight retainer agreements.

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The average Lawyer costs range from $200-$350 per hour.  It may seem like a lot, but there are ways that law firms like ours help customers afford this cost.  This includes:

Unbundled Services – This means we break the case down into bits and pieces and you pay as you go. As an example, if we represent you in your case, go to the first hearing, file a few documents on your behalf, and the case settles whether criminal or civil, why pay more.  You’re done at that point. No need to pay a bundle of services you wont use.

Payment Plans for Attorneys

Yes, we offer payment plans based on what you can afford.  Yes, we do like to work around your budget. You can also pay with your credit card, making your payments lower on a monthly basis.

Cheap Legal Fees Doesn’t Mean Bad Lawyering

Affordable doesn’t mean bad.  Many would like to have you think that’s the case, but when you manage your law firm like a business, you reduce costs and pass those along to your consumers.  We have that advantage, which is not something all law firms can claim.

Call us today to schedule a free consultation and please ask us to work with you on your budget, unbundled legal services and payment plan options.
